(5) the high v oltage m ust be 14?21kv 1kv / 20?21?25kv 1kv / 29?26.5kv 1kv and less than 14?25kv / 20?21?27.5kv / 29?29.5kv at 0 beam current (br ightnees and contr ast minim um setting). note: if the picture tube is replaced, chec k the high v oltage . the hor iz. width adjustment aff ects the high v oltage . theref ore , re-chec k the high v oltage . foucus vr (upper side) more than 5mm aj1 this tv set has a b uilt-in po w er supply protection circuit. it is pro vided to protect the tv set in case of a po w er supply circuit malfunctions . when something abnor mality occurs dur ing tv reception, the tv set goes to the stand-b y mode . when an abnor mality occurs dur ing tv reception, it causes pin 33 of the cpu to go contin ually lo w(less than 0.75v) f or about one second. the cpu detects that this has occurred and outputs the signal from pin 8 to s witch off the po w er supply lines . releasing the pr otective cir cuit and restoring po wer suppl y t o release the protectiv e circuit and restore po w er supply , tur n the po w er to the tv set off and then on again via either the main po w er s witch or the on-off b utton on the remote control. this will w or k only if the po w er supply troub le w as tempor ar y . if there is per manent troub le such as a damaged circuit, po w er cannot be restored and the circuit will ha v e to be repaired. n pr otection cir cuit
